On top of honoring the traditions that bring us joy this week, we can also honor people in our lives, our unique abilities & gifts and the provisions we have by practicing gratitude. Did you know that gratitude is one of the strongest tools we have in manifesting joy in our lives? Don't believe me? Well the brains at Harvard Medical School have found this from their research…
" In positive psychology research, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. "
It is so wild to me that the quality of being thankful or the readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness to, can do that much for our joy. I know this week and this season may be challenging for your or mean something different to you, but I would encourage you today to show appreciation to yourself, even the breath in your lungs. To return kindness to someone who may have helped or guided you. To focus on the little things that make you feel seen, known, loved, happy or whole.
Please download, share or save this as a reminder to yourself or a gift to someone else.I hope it helps spark gratitude and manifest joy in your life.
